Harold Newsome Ltd is built from talented individuals with the creativity and passion to not only meet but exceed our clients’ needs. These qualities propel our company forward. Each member brings something unique to the table, from our in-house design team to our qualified AP’s and Estimators. We are a team consisting of Structural Engineers, Steel Detailers, Estimators, Steel Fabricators, Erectors, and Snaggers working on both Design & Build and supply only contracts across a wide range of sectors.
Design & Build
80% of our workload is carried out on a design and build basis, we specialise in efficient and cost effective design of structural steel frames from large scale industrial sheds to hotels, hospitals, schools, residential buildings and refurbs.
Our in-house design team have a proven track record of working directly with clients, architects, engineering consultants and secondary trades to provide bespoke steel frames which best fit the clients requirements.
Supply & Installation
Around 20% of our workload is based on the supply and installation of steelwork to externally designed schemes. We work collaboratively with clients and project engineers to deliver projects which are within budget, hitting key dates and pay careful consideration to site specific constraints.
Steel Fabrication
At HNL we like to adopt the most up to date fabrication techniques, CNC cut and drill lines and plasma plate cutters are used for the majority of our fabrication work.
We also appreciate that bespoke steel frames often require a human touch, our skilled labour-force has a wealth of knowledge in the steel industry and the ability to craft the most complex of steel frames.
